MAY 18, 2009 Chris Bareither, a GLE graduate student, has been invited to represent the Geo-Institute of ASCE at the Fourth International Young Geotechnical Engineering Conference The conference will take place from October 2 to October 6, 2009 in Alexandria, Egypt, immediately before the International Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (17th ICSMGE 2009). The US National Society will sponsor Bareither and two other outstanding young geotechnical engineers to attend. Bareither was chosen due to his academic excellence, research accomplishments & evidence of leadership within the field.
